Destinations Camp

Oops--You've found an old page, click to visit this year's camp: Summer Destinations 2022

Round House Theatre Education inspires creativity, exercises imaginations, and promotes artistic risk-taking, while developing critical thinking, cooperation, and confidence. We believe every child is an artist and encourage them to explore all aspects of theatre—acting, movement, design, and play creation—and the unique ways to tell stories through theatre. From kindergarteners creating an Amazonian rainforest to high schoolers learning stage combat, all our students experience the joy of creating and sharing theatre.

Summer Camp 2021

Round House Education is excited to welcome young artists back to our spaces this summer for Summer Camp 2021 to explore acting, movement, design and playmaking in person. The health and safety of our students, staff and teaching artists continue to be our number one priority. Should we not be able to offer in-person camps, Virtual Camp last summer proved that our teaching artists can successfully capture much of the joy of exploring theatre even on-line.  For our long-distance learners, and families who prefer to remain online this summer, we will be  offering virtual sessions for each age group. If necessary, in-person sessions will switch to virtual sessions with 30 days’ notice.

Safety Procedures Related to Covid 19

The safety of our students and teaching artists is of the utmost importance, and we are making adjustments to keep our teaching artists and students safe including:

  • Significantly reduced our enrollment
  • Requiring masks except when eating or drinking.
  • Practice social distancing, including setting up classrooms to meet social distancing, as recommended by the CDC and local guidelines for activities and breaks.
  • Providing student with their own art supplies
  • Limiting options for anyone other than students to enter our buildings.
